The project team
The result of a public-private partnership between the Fonds Kirchberg, Immobel and Prefalux Home, Kiem 2050 is the first residential project in Kirchberg to be designed using a circular approach.
Immobel
Developer
Immobel is Belgium's largest listed property developer. The Group creates sustainable urban spaces by adapting to changes in the market. Aware that each project is unique, the Group builds inspired, mixed-use complexes.
Prefalux Home
Developer / Sales
Prefalux Home is dedicated to property development focused on sustainability and ecology, using timber construction techniques for projects aimed at private individuals.
Fonds Kirchberg
Initiator
The Fonds Kirchberg is the public body which, under the supervision of the Minister for Mobility and Public Works, is responsible for the urbanisation and development of the Kirchberg Plateau. The Fund is the initiator of the Kiem 2050 architectural project, which was then developed in Bouwteam with the developers Immobel and Prefalux Home, from project management (architect, design office) through to planning permission. The Fund determines the purposes (affordable housing, "Living & Working" housing, commercial space) and their framework.
